Cloudy weather in Jamshedpur, temperature at 29.2 degrees Celsius

Jamshedpur, April 8: Jharkhand, particularly the Kolhan region, experienced a shift in weather conditions starting Monday. The city of Jamshedpur remained under cloudy skies throughout the day, accompanied by intermittent drizzles. This led to a noticeable decline in temperatures across the region. East Singhbhum recorded a temperature of 29.2 degrees Celsius, while West Singhbhum registered 25.4 degrees Celsius and Seraikela Kharsawan recorded 28.5 degrees Celsius.

According to the Meteorological Department Ranchi Centre, there is a forecast of rain accompanied by thunderstorms in the western parts of Jharkhand, including Garhwa, Palamu, Latehar, Lohardaga, Gumla, and Simdega, on Tuesday. On Wednesday, the southern and central regions of the state, including East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, Simdega, Seraikela Kharsawan, Ranchi, Bokaro, Gumla, Hazaribagh, Khunti, and Ramgarh, may experience light to moderate rainfall. Additionally, there is a likelihood of rain accompanied by thunderstorms in these areas on April 11. During this period, the wind speed is expected to range between 30 to 40 kilometers per hour.
