Jadugoda: A cleanliness drive was launched by the Narwa Pahar unit of Uranium Corporation of India Limited (UCIL) on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti on Sunday.
The campaign was carried out in the Market Complex. The chief guest of the programme was the general manager of UCIL Ajay Dhar who took the broom in his hands and cleaned various places in the Market Complex situated in the Narwa Residential Colony. People took pledge to keep their households and surroundings clean all round the year.
Members of Bharat Swabhiman, Potka, felicitated one Nav Ranjan Bhakt for his contribution in cleanliness drive. A large number of people were present on the occasion.
