Jamshedpur: Members and volunteers of Nehru Yuva Kendra, Jadugora, observed Cleanliness Fortnight on Sunday.
They collected garbage at various places to ensure their proper disposal. The volunteers went to More Chowk, Bus Stand, Sidhu-Kanhu Chowk, UCIL Hospital Chowk and various other places and appealed to people to keep the city clean.
The outfit members have decided to continue the campaign till 30th August. They said they will continue their efforts to keep the city clean.
They also stressed on creating public awareness on cleanliness so that every household and its surroundings remain clean.
