Jamshedpur: The 7th annual classical music conclave under the aegis of Bansi Bose Music Foundation will be held at the Michael John Auditorium in Bistupur on February 23 from 6 pm.
Speaking during a press meet organized at The Milanee, Bansi Bose Music Foundation president Shekhar Dey informed that the program would commence with offering tribute to the martyrs of Pulwama. Tributes would also be paid to city artistes who died in the course of one year.
The press meet was also attended by the Foundation�s general secretary Subhash Bose, Gautam Bose, Puravi Ghosh and Durga Ghosh Chowdhury.
Special felicitations will be given to classical music vocalist Sandhya Rani Goswami for her contribution towards popularizing this art in the city. Musical instrument repairer Meghnath Ruhidas will also be honoured on the occasion for his continuous services.
The program�s first presentation would be Khayal by Hindustani classical singer Vidhushi Anjana Nath. She will be accompanied on tabla by Shubhojyoti Guha and on harmonium by Jyotirmay Banerjee.
