Children to be initiated into creative writing through �Nanhe Rachnakar� program

Jamshedpur, Oct 23: Social organization Nishchay Foundation has launched an initiative to promote creative writing among young minds through their program, Nanhe Rachnakar (young creative writers).  The program was launched today at Birsanagar Government Middle School, Nildih in which 40 children participated.

It was explained in the workshop as to how one could express their minds through effective writing. For this purpose it was essential to have good knowledge of language and for this it was necessary to read as many stories and poems as possible. The instructors at the workshop told the participants that study of languages like Hindi and English should be pursued as dedicatedly as those in cases of math, science and other subjects. This would effectively enhance the level of qualitative education. Nishchay Foundation will conduct such camps in city and rural schools on a regular basis. The participating students were informed that all poets and writers wrote on real life experiences.

After the break the students were asked to write about their experiences with elderly people. Their works were then corrected by the workshop coordinators and they were given the task of writing their experiences of association with elderly people as homework. The best of the lot would be taken to the Old Age Home at New Baradwari where they will share the joys of Diwali with the elderly residents there and learn about respecting and taking care of them. The children would not only receive the blessings of the elderly people but would also get prizes for their creative compositions.
