Chandil, July 20: One Sarveshwar Singh Sardar of Dobo village under Chandil block Wednesday met Deputy Commissioner of East Singhbhum and demanded a stay over the alleged construction of a boundary wall on his paternal landed property. He claimed that the local Civil Court had ordered status quo on the said land in a p[ending case.
Sardar said he had served copies of his petition to the SDO, CO and officer in-charge of Chandil PS. He also alleged that he was beaten up for protesting against the boundary construction work.
