Jamshedpur: CBI sleuths raided on Monday the Jamshedpur residence of Income Tax Commissioner Swetabh Suman, who was arrested by a CBI team in Guwahati on bribery charges on April 13 last.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had arrested Swetabh Suman, a 1988 batch Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer serving as Income Tax Commissioner while taking Rs 40 lakh bribe in Assam.
Suman was arrested along with his junior and Income Tax Officer Partap Das, a middleman Pranjol Sarma and another private person Ramesh Goenka.
