Cash and valuables worth Rs 1.5 lakh stolen in Potka

Jamshedpur, June 30: Unidentified thieves took away cash and jewelry worth Rs 1.5 lakh from a house in Judi village under Potka police station area late yesterday night. The house owner Pravir Kumar Mandal learnt about the incident this morning. He said the entire family was sleeping outside the house after locking it from outside. The thieves took away cash worth Rs 25,000 and jewelry worth Rs 1.25 lakh, he said.

Police said a probe was on to identify the thieves.
