Jamshedpur, July 29: Carmel Junior College boy Vatsal Singhania who won his maiden international title in the under-16 boys category at the Commonwealth Chess Championship in New Delhi recently was felicitated by Sister M Lini, Principal and Vice Principal Sister Debashree of Carmel Junior College for his achievement, during the opening ceremony of the 5th edition of the Carmel Summit Interschool Team Chess Tournament 2017, on Saturday.
Vatsal Singhania also enhanced his ELO rating by 130 points in the 17th Bangkok Chess Club Open 2017. Vatsal has made his school and city proud with his achievements. The CEO, AJCA Pritam Singh and IM Neeraj Kumar Mishra, Secretary, AJCA were also present on the occasion.
