Brahmakumaris Jamshedpur to launch safe driving rally

Jamshedpur, April 22: In view of the mounting road accidents leading to fatalities and severe injuries, the Prajapita Brahmakumari Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalay in association with RERF’s Transport and Travel Department will launch a programme, ‘Sadak Suraksha, Jeevan Raksha’ between April 24 and May 5 as a part of the Amrit Mahotsav project. Prajapita Brahmakumari Ishwariya Vishwa Vidalay’s Jamshedpur chapter in association with Raj Yog Education and Research Foundation (RERF) will be a part of the rally nationwide project.

Everyone is well aware of the innumerable deaths in India caused by road accidents and several serious injuries. With this in mind, the Indian Government in association with the Brahmakumaris is launching a nationwide movement to prevent road mishaps. This venture was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Head Office of the Brahmakumaris.

In sequel to the inauguration to commemorate the 75^th year of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Jamshedpur will see a rally of 75 motorcycles taking part in the event. The rally will commence from the Marine Drive on April 24. It will start from the Brahmakumari’s Sonari unit. The rally will move out to Baradwari, Kadma, Adityapur, Mango, Gamharia, Baridih, Telco, Jugsalai and other localities.

The prime objective of organizing this nationwide rally is to make people, especially the youth segment aware of safe riding to lessen the cases of road accidents in the country. The rally will also include educational institutions in its coverage. The chief of Bramhakumaris in Kolhan Region, Anju Bahan (sister) gave this information during a press meet. The rally between April 24 and May 5 will be conducted in phases.
