Boycott Chinese goods, signature campaign tells people

Jamshedpur: A signature campaign was started at Sakchi roundabout here on Tuesday to appeal to the city people to boycott Chinese products. It will continue till Dhanteras, organizers said.

Leading the campaign, Mrityunjay Kumar, a city resident, said the people should unite against the pro-Pakistan and pro-terrorism policies of the Chinese government.

He said that China had harmed Indian interests on various issues including terrorism, declaring Azhar Masood as an international terrorist and entry of India in the United Nations Security Council.

China is a country where there are no human rights at all. People are jailed for no offence and are forced to work at the behest of the criminals.

The goods produced in China are sold at cheaper rates which is again against the interest of the workers there. An investigation should be done by international human rights organizations, said Kumar.

Kumar cited the example of Japanese people who had boycotted oranges sent to Japan by America. In the end, the oranges were thrown in sea, he said.
