Jamshedpur, September 9: A bonus agreement has been finalized for employees of Tata Steel Tinplate Division, formerly known as Tinplate Company of India Limited. Employees will receive a bonus of 17.89 percent, with a maximum payout of Rs 1,00,694.
A total of Rs 4.68 crore will be distributed among 860 employees. Last year, a bonus of Rs 5.31 crore was shared among 895 employees. The new agreement, signed on Monday evening, provided a lower bonus compared to the previous year’s 20 percent.
The agreement was signed by Union President Rakeshwar Pandey, Vice Presidents Parvinder Singh Sohal and Satnam Singh, General Secretary Manoj Kumar Singh, along with other union members including Gautam De, Munna Khan, Vakil Khan, Sai Babu Raju, Jagjeet Singh, Treasurer Sanjay Kumar, and Joint Treasurer Bhupendra Kumar Singh.
