Ramgarh, August 31:The Senior Branch Manager of Bank of India’s Chatti Bazaar Branch in Ramgarh, Nalini Sinha, has lodged an FIR in the Ramgarh PS accusing Vishal Kumar, Md Fajtur Rahman Mallik, SkMonirul Islam and Vijay Kumar for illegally withdrawing Rs 32.21 Lakh through eight fake (cloned) cheques of BoI Chatti Bazaar issued against account number 58891011008691 of Ramgarh District Mineral Foundation Trust.
The cheques were cleared and paid on August 17, 18 and 19. The account holder, on reviewing the bank statement on August 22 detected the fraudulent withdrawals and reported the matter to the BoI Chatti Bazaar branch authorities. The FIR has been lodged following the complaint of the account holders, Ramgarh District Mineral Foundation Trust. (w/gsd)
