Late Saturday evening, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Special DG Deepak Kumar arrived at the remote Baliba camp to review anti-Maoist operations and finalize a high-stakes strategy.

During the meeting, Kumar issued a clear directive: security forces must liberate the Saranda region from Maoist influence within one month. This deadline signals a major escalation in tactical operations across the dense forested belt.
