Jamshedpur, Sept 8: The body of a middle-aged man was discovered in the Mango Market area on Friday morning. The police, after being informed, reached the spot and sent the body for post-mortem. The man has been identified as 55-year old Jhamlal who used to live in the Mango Market area. Locals stated that Jhamlal may have succumbed due to exposure to the almost incessant rains over the past couple of days.
Jhamlal’s son also arrived at the post-mortem house and confirmed the identity of the body. He explained that they used to live in Ulidih earlier, but his father sold the house years ago and started working in a stall in Sakchi. He continued to stay in a house on Old Purulia Road owned by his employer. The deceased’s son informed that despite several attempts he was unable to convince his father to move in to his house and stay with him.
The police have launched an investigation.
