Blood donation drive at SDSM School collects 311 units

Jamshedpur, June 25: To commemorate the 21st death anniversary of the founder S.D. Singh, S.D.S.M. School for Excellence organized a mega blood donation camp on 25th June 2019, Tuesday in association with Red Cross Society in the school premises.

The event started with the lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest and other dignitaries. The Chief Guest for the camp was Subhash Chandra Jat (IPS), Superintendent of Police (Rural), East Singhbhum and Chief Guest insisted to be away from the rash driving and fatal accidents to the students and also reiterated to avoid rote learning in their studies. Guest of Honour  Vijay Singh, Secretary, Red Cross Society, Jamshedpur delivered motivational speech to inspire others to be a part of this life saving attempt. On this occasion 311 units of blood were donated at the camp. Donors were given a certificate of appreciation for their service to the humanity. On the occasion Chairman,
Diwakar Singh shared his views about Late S.D. Singh�s contribution to the society. He also mentioned that everyone should donate blood as it replicates human values and social responsibility towards our society.

At the end, the vote of thanks was proposed by Prabhakar Singh. He thanked  all the donors, parents, students and media on this occasion.
