Jamshedpur: Jamshedpur Public School in association with Lions Club is going to organize a blood donation camp on the school premises on 1st September.
Ruchi Narendran will be the chief guest of the programme. The students of the school are creating awareness among the people for the programme and importance of blood donation.
The Leo Club members along with the Interact Club members of the school organised a Poster Making and a Slogan Writing competition for students of standard IX � XI on 27th August, based on the theme �Donate Blood- it�s a healthy thing to do.�
On 28th August, 2014 the students of Std XI and XII performed a street play in various places in Baridih and Golmuri( Baridih market & petrol pump, Sidhgora market & in NTTF College) to motivate the people to donate blood.
The children educated local residents and commuters about the need for and the benefits of donating blood and also distributed pamphlets regarding the same.
0n 30th August, 2014 Saturday, the students of standard VIII & IX will take out a rally with banners and posters in an attempt to draw more and more people towards this noble cause.
Last year, the students had helped to generate awareness in the nearby locality and were happy that 102 units of blood were collected at the camp organised by Lion�s Club in association with JPS.
Finally, the students are looking forward to host the blood donation camp on the school premises on 1st September.
