Jamshedpur: Valley View School organised a blood donation drive, which was inaugurated by Chief Guest Manoj Kumar, DSP, Jamshedpur. Addressing the gathering, he highlighted the importance of blood donation drives, especially those organised by educational institutions, and praised the school’s initiative and the commitment of the donors.
The DSP also personally donated blood to encourage others. Among the first donors from the school staffs were teachers Binod Kumar and Sumit Kumar, while Soumili Kar Roy of Class XII became the first student donor. By the end of the day, the school successfully collected 51 units of blood.
