Jamshedpur, June 28: A blood donation camp was organised on the birth anniversary of social worker KK Singh at Red Cross Bhawan in Sakchi on Thursday.
Chief Guest for the occasion Hari Ballabh Singh Arsi, founder of Sri Krishna Sinha Sansthan, said, the blood donation camp on the Singh’s birth anniversary is a tribute to a great man and inspiration to the youths to follow his footsteps and work for the society. A total of 185 units of blood were collected during the camp.
Earlier, chief guest along with social worker AK Srivastav, Patron and vice president of Red Cross Society Vikas Singh son of KK Singh and First Aid trainer PK Chatterjee jointly inaugurated the camp.
Guest of Honour AK Srivastav on the occasion said that KK Singh always helped the people in need.
On the occasion Red Cross Society and KK Educational Foundation Trust jointly gave souvenir to every blood donor.
Present on the occasion were social worker Naval Babu, Upendra Sharma, Anil Thakur, Prabhakar Singh, senior journalist Jai Prakash Rai, social worker Amarpreet Singh Kale, BJP district president Dinesh Kumar, Udit Agarwal, Prabhunath Singh, Devanand Singh, Vijay Sharma, Rajkishore Singh, Ram Uday Prakash Singh, Chulbul, Manish, Vipin, Ashok Kumar and others.
