Jamshedpur: A meeting of BJP party units of Jamshedpur West was held on Friday at Bistupur under the chairmanship of MLA Saryu Roy.
It was decided in the meeting that the BJP workers would provide forms for old-age and widow pensions to the needy in each block. The party members would also provide necessary information to the beneficiaries on how to fill up forms and its submission at JNAC and MNAC offices.
It was decided at the meeting that if any person needs recommendation from the MLA to avail pension benefits, he or she could contact the MLA through the party workers.
It was also decided that local level committees would be pressed into action of solution of problems of the people. Help from NGOs would also be taken for development activities, Roy said.
On the occasion a six-member team was constituted that would look into the existing problems at Uligih. Apart from Roy others including Chittaranjan Verma, Lalan Trivedi, Vikas Singh were present at the meeting.
