Jamshedpur: A short-term expansion workshop was organized by the Jamshedpur Mahanagar unit of Bharatiya Janata Party at Sidhgora Town Hall on Monday.
It was held under the Deen Dayal Work Expansion Plan. The chief trainer of the workshop was the state vice president of the party cum in-charge of BJP’s Kolhan divisional unit Sameer Oraon.
Addressing party members, Oraon said Pundit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya has been the most valued ideologue of the BJP. He said the country could progress and prosper only after implementing the thoughts of the party’s founder leader. He further appealed to party workers to make 50 new members at each booth in the district.
Also present on the occasion, the MP of Jamshedpur Bidyut Baran Mahato said every party worker should ensure a stay of 15 days at their respective booths and spread awareness among the people on the policies and principles of the party.
Another speaker of the occasion, state BJP spokesperson Rajesh Kumar Shukla said the party workers should implement the centenary year programmes of BJP after fully understanding their outline.
District BJP president Dinesh Kumar and district convenor Chandrashekhar Mishra were also present during the workshop.
Earlier, the workshop started with the garlanding of portraits of Pundit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya and Shyama Prasad Mukherjee. Vande Mataram was sung by those present.
The programme was conducted by district general secretary Anil Modi. A vote of thanks was paid by district vice president Bhupendra Singh.
