BJP OBC Morcha meeting held in Sakchi

Jamshedpur, Jan 24: A meeting of BJP Other Backward Caste (OBC) Morcha was convened in a hotel at Mango bus stand on Thursday. It was hosted by Jamshedpur unit of BJP OBC Morcha and chaired by the state president of BJY OBC Morcha Amardeep Yadav.

Addressing the gathering, Yadav said Jharkhand has a population of 52 per cent backward people. He said the party leaders need to reach out to the backward people and form Mandal units all over Jharkhand ahead of Lok Sabha elections.

The chief guest of the meeting, Narayan Chandel said workers were the backbone of BJP and hence their suggestions would be given utmost importance in the organization. He said the OBC Morcha was formed with the view to reach out to the last man on the street and include him in the social mainstream.

Among those present during the programme included Gopal Prasad Jaisawal, Rajeshwar Sahu, Ramvilas Sharma, Kishore Sahu, Dilip Kumar, Rita Sharma and Bhola Sharma.
