Jamshedpur, Dec 18: BJP leader Ankit Anand has complained to the Jharkhand DGP, M. V Rao and Kolhan DIG Rajiv Ranjan Singh and also written to the Jharkhand Police Complaint Authority and East Singhbhum SSP, M Tamilvanan against the Telco police station officer-in-charge, Akhilesh Mandal for lodging false complaint and not abiding with Supreme Court’s directive.
The additional secretary of Jharkhand Police Complaint Authority, Vishnu Kant has sought an inquiry report on the complaint from the Kolhan DIG.
According to Ankit Anand, there was a fight with his neighbours in which Ankit had sustained injuries and a complaint was lodged in Telco thana. However, Telco police did not initiate any action against his neighbours and instead lodged a case against Ankit on complaint of neighbours.
