Jamshedpur, Dec 18: Bike borne criminals shot at a tailor in Jawaharnagar under Mango thana on Friday and escaped, mirroring the deteriorating law and order situation in the city.

Locals rushed the injured tailor identified as Sajid Hussain, a resident of Road Number 8, Jawaharnagar to Tata Main Hospital for treatment where his condition is stated to be critical as the bullet is pierced in the left rib cage. He has been admitted in the high dependency unit of the hospital.

Police reached the spot and have started investigation in the crime.
Jamshedpur city SP Subhas Chandra Jatt, reached the hospital and took information from the victim about the crime and said that police have got leads in the case and will arrest the culprits soon.

According to Mohammed Mahtab, brother of the injured tailor, Sajid was closing the shop at Mango market when the bike borne criminals came and shot at him.
