Jamshedpur, June 29: In a programme organized at Kishore Sangh in Bhalubasa fifty ration cards, 40 gas connections and ten wheel chairs to physically challenged persons were distributed today. The Chief Minister�s legislative representative Pawan Agrawal, JNAC Special Officer Krishna Kumar and BJYM state general secretary Gunjan Yadav were specially present on the occasion.
In his speech, Pawan Agrawal said, �BJP�s politics concentrates on development. It is through politics that mankind can be better and effectively served. The present government is committed to all round development especially in the eradication of poverty. These commitments are becoming ground realities with the effectiveness of the various schemes launched. The BJP does not believe in the politics of votes but on development.�
JNAC Special Officer Krishna Kumar said that many projects have been launched through which the poorer segments are reaping benefits. The government, he said, would soon provide pension to 2,500 people. The increased amount of Rs 1,000 in pension amount is being provided to pensioners. �The PM Awas Yojna is aimed at ending poverty,� he said.
Gunjan Yadav urged the members of the party�s youth wing to invest their energy in constructive work to create a new and progressive Jharkhand. BJP unit general secretary Suresh Sharma conducted the programme. Unit president Ramesh Nag, Debu Sarkar, Tuntun Singh, Mantu Banerjee, Amar Sharma and others were present during the function.
