Jamshedpur, April 3: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has reorganized its assembly-wise responsibilities in Jharkhand following the Lok Sabha elections, with recent updates to the list of appointments. In a correction made on Wednesday, former BJP District President Dinesh Kumar has been designated as the new in-charge for the Ichagarh Assembly elections, replacing former District President Nandji Prasad, who already held significant responsibilities as the convenor of the Jamshedpur Lok Sabha Election Steering Committee.
The adjustment was made during a meeting at the state BJP office, attended by all assembly election in-charges. Instructions were issued for initiating preparations for the upcoming Lok Sabha election campaign in a mission mode. Additionally, Dinesh Kumar was entrusted with the crucial task of booth and data management for the Kolhan cluster, comprising areas where the Jamshedpur and Chaibasa Lok Sabha constituencies are located.
Notably, the Kolhan cluster’s oversight falls under the purview of State General Secretary cum Rajya Sabha MP Pradeep Verma. Dinesh Kumar will assist Verma in managing booth operations within this cluster, reflecting the party’s strategic approach towards effective campaign management.
