Saffron flags adorn Jamshedpur ahead of Hindu New Year Yatra

Jamshedpur, April 3: In preparation for the massive Hindu New Year Yatra on April 8, Jamshedpur is being adorned with saffron flags stretching eight kilometers from Dimna to Subhash Maidan and throughout the city. Localities are also being embellished with saffron flags to mark the occasion.

The Hindu New Year Yatra Organization has extended an invitation to people from all over Jharkhand to join the festivities at Dimna MGM Ground on Chautra Shukla Pratipada (April 8) for a saffron bath. They encourage everyone to participate in the yatra and exchange greetings for the Hindu New Year.

At a meeting held on Dimna Road, Mango, Mrityunjay Kumar, the founder of the Hindu New Year Yatra, rallied the enthusiasm of youth and Bajrangis. He commended the tireless efforts of the youth in serving the city and expressed confidence in a significant turnout for the yatra.

Discussions during the meeting encompassed various arrangements, including cleanliness initiatives, ambulance services, healthcare provisions, lighting, sound systems, and distribution of prasad, to ensure a successful and memorable event.
