BJM meets DC on Sidhgora Mandir Children Park issue

Jamshedpur, Aug 24: A delegation of Bharatiya Janata Morcha Jamshedpur, under the leadership of District President Subodh Srivastava, met the Deputy Commissioner and submitted a memorandum demanding that the Surya Mandir Children’s Park be repaired properly and action should be taken against the culprits.

So far no action has been taken by the district administration in the case of illegal transfer of resources at the Children’s Park located in the Sidhgora Sun Temple complex. In this regard, on Tuesday, BJP leaders said that in the last few months, influential leaders belonging to a political party of the city had illegally shifted the Children’s Park elsewhere without any government permission. The park was completely damaged and the swings, sports resources located there were uprooted from the ground and placed on another ground located some distance from the north site. Due to which it was clear that a plan is being made to vacate the former place of Children Park and grab land there for private interest.

The BJM had strongly objected to the wrongful act being done with the aim of capturing government property in this way and had made a written complaint to the district administration. Subsequently, the administration formed a committee to investigate the incident.

BJM Central General Secretary Sanjeev Acharya, MLA Representative (Public Suvidha) Hareram Singh, BJMO District General Secretary Kulwinder Singh Pannu, spokesperson Akash Shah and others were present.
