Jamshedpur, Jan 9: District President of Bhartiya Jantantra Morcha Subodh Shrivastava has given his reaction on the statement given by Dinesh Kumar, former district president of BJP and relative of former Chief Minister, Raghubar Das regarding Mathura Bagan Park.
He has said that Dinesh Kumar, has made wrong comments about Mathura Bagan Park and has shown his ignorance about development plans.

“The park was built by Raghubar Das for  Rs 20 – 25 lakh by asking Tata Steel and TSUIS (formerly Jusco). But as it was inaugurated in 2 years, the park has become dilapidated and we are going to agitate for this reason. The truth is that this park has not been built by TSUIS, but by the Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) from the state urban development department fund, at the cost of about Rs 80 lakh, from a contractor agency named Green Park of Ranchi. In the list of completed projects released by JNAC in the year 2019, the name of this scheme is also included at number 234. In 2019,” he alleged.
The then chief minister Raghubar Das, had inaugurated hundreds of projects of Jharkhand online in one go, out of which this park of Mathura plantation was also inaugurated.
“Ironically, neither the foundation board has been installed at the site of the park nor any board for the inauguration has been put up. The truth is that this park has not been handed over by the contractor to JNAC till date. The former chief minister showed the inauguration of this half-completed park without taking a handover to show the achievements of his government and showed it complete on paper. On getting information about this park, Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Rai had visited Madhur Bagan Park on October 27, 2021 and wrote a letter to JNAC to ensure the park is maintained,” said Subodh Srivastava.

He also demanded for conduct of an inquiry into the estimate of this park and the financial and physical progress of the work done in it so that it can be known that how much has happened during the tenure of Raghubar Das who is to blame for the plight of Mathura Bagan Park.
