Jamshedpur, Nov. 6: Tata Motors Sports department is organising Inter School and Inter team Basketball tournament for Boys and Men. The tournament kicked off 4th November at Tata Motors Basketball Court.
In the school category the 5th league match of Inter school category was played between Vidya Bharati Chinmaya Vidyalaya and Hill Top School. It was a tough fight between both the team but finally Vidya Bharati Chinmaya Vidyalaya won the match with scores being 57:32 points.
The 6th league match of the category was played between Gulmohur High School and Vivek Vidyalaya, which witnessed neck-to-neck competition between both the teams. Gulmohur High School won the match with score of 39: 26 Points.
In the team category 5th league match of inter team category was played between Prima Challengers and Indigo Fighters. Indigo Fighters won comprehensively beating Prima Challengers 26:11 points.
The 6th league match of Inter Team category was to be played between Nano Warriors and Safari Royals. Safari Royals won the match with scores being 33: 21 points.
The semi finals in both the categories will be played on November 7. Vidya Bharati Chinmaya Vidyalaya will take on Gulmohur High School while Shiksha Niketan will be up against Little Flower in the school category.
In the team category semis Trans Axle will face Nano Warriors and Safari Royals will be up against Indigo Fighters.
