Jamshedpur, May 23: Shahidi Divas (Martyrdom Day) of Guru Arjan Dev Ji was observed at Baridih Gurudwara where, following the recitation of Akhand Path, the members of Stree Satsang Sabha sang kirtans.
The Pradhan of Stree Satsang Sabha Bibi Deva Kaur, on behalf of Guru Ghar, honoured Shiv Singh Bagan Area resident Bibi Gurpal Kaur by presenting her with Siropa.
Baba Niranjan Singh offered prayers for the wellbeing of all animate beings and distributed prasad of grams, sherbet and halwa among all present at the Gurudwara. The organizing committee for the Shahidi Divas of Guru Arjan Dev Ji programme included Kartar Singh, Mohan Singh, Kulwinder Singh, Sandeep Singh, Gyani Kuldeep Singh, Jaswant Singh, Balwinder Singh, Vikram Singh, Manjeet Kaur, Jaswant Kaur, Manpreet Kaur, Balwinder Kaur and Nirmal Kaur.
