A souvenir will be released on the occasion that will cover the details of the JBSS language movement through its 22 years journey. A padyatra (foot march) will be taken out from Jamshedpur to Ranchi in September to press home the unresolved demands for the status of Bangla language in Jharkhand which, the masses should also be made aware of.

Nepal questioned, “What will the teachers teach and what will the students learn until the government gives a thought to this problem?” JBSS members present at the press conference included General Secretary Sandeep Sinha Chowdhary, Working President Vishwajit Mandal, Nepal Chandra Das, Purabi Ghosh, Arijit Sarkar, Uday Shome, Babulal Chakraborty, Arup Chowdhury, Dilip Kumar Mahto, Ravindra Nath Das and Moni Bagchi.
