Jamshedpur, Jan. 25: District Bar Association (DBA), Jamshedpur is organizing a limited over tennis ball cricket tournament at Co-Operative College ground from 25th to 27th January. Advocates of DBA (Male as well as Female) Jamshedpur, Judges, Civil Court Staffs and Jharkhand Police Staffs will participate in the tournament.
The tournament was inaugurated on Friday morning at Co- operative ground by State food and civil supplies minister and Jamshedpur MLA Saryu in presence of Vijayendra Kumar Singh, President of District Bar Association Ratindro Nath Das, Anil Tiwary, general secretary and other Advocates.
Six matches were played on the opening day. In the first match team Advocates team saw Bibhash Kr. Choudhary score 36 Runs in 14 balls and was awarded the man of the match.
In the second match Santosh Singh scored 54 Runs and was awarded Man of the Match and in third match Rajesh Ranjan scored 31 run and awarded Man of the Match.
During the fourth match between the Advocates team – Ranjana XI and Mamta Singh XI in which Ranjana XI won the match, in the fifth match Brijesh was declared the Man of the Match, and during the sixth match Manpreet was declared the man of the match.
Total of 15 teams are participating in this tournament. On 27th of January there will be a match between Judges XI versus President XI and on same day final match will also be played.
This event is organized by the Advocates of District Bar Association Jamshedpur Ratindra Nath Das (President), Anil Kumar Tiwary (General Secretary ) , Rajeev Saini, Shasi Shekhar, Anand Jha, Ravi Thakur, Dharmendra Singh, Alok Bhaskar, Neeraj Singh, Amit Singh, Ved Prakash Singh and Avinash Choudhary .
