Jamshedpur, Aug 7: Former minister and Congress leader Banna Gupta today visited Gandhi Basti in Ramnagar and took first hand note of problems being faced by the residents. They complained that no development work had taken place in the area since the past four and half years as a result of which they had been deprived of the minimum basic amenities.
Banna Gupta assured the Gandhi Basti residents that he would try his utmost to resolve their persisting problems. Basti Mukhiya Ashok Kumar, Mangal Karmakar, Budheshwar, Kishan, Chandan, Joker Lohar, Prakash, Om Prakash, Ravi Mahto, Nimai Agrawal, Kailash Rajak, Babua Jha, Jai Prakash Sahu, Rajesh Gorai and others accompanied the Congress leader during his visit to Gandhi Basti.
