Mission Mamta week observed

Jamshedpur, Aug 7: Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur West organized different programs on the first week of August to observe Mission Mamta week.

The purpose to observe this week-long event was to create awareness about adoption of orphans.  Club organised awareness talk at Baldeo Basti, awareness talk at Community Hall, Jhabri Basti with the Anganwadi workers, visited Palna Ghar (at Adarsh Seva Sansthan), a creche for under privileged children and donating food items amongst children, visited Shishu Niketan, an orphanage for girl child run by AIWC.

The club members spent quality time with the inmates, gave them token gift hampers and a lunch treat. Organised Poster making and slogan writing competition at three different schools. Organised a rally with the students of Interact Club to create awareness about adoption of orphans, went to Nirmala Shishu Bhavan, an orphanage run by missionaries Of Charity and donated many necessary items to the Home. The club members also visited an orphanage in a nearby village, spent quality time with the children and donated six fans and one laptop to the orphanage.
