Banks to remain closed for six days in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, March 24: Banks will remain closed for six days between March 27 and April 4 in Jamshedpur. Banks will transact three days’ business between the two dates. Customers will have to transact their banking business before March 27 or else they will have to wait till April 5.  Banks will be closed on March 27 on account of it being the fourth Saturday of the month. Thereafter the banks will remain closed till March 29. March 31 will be the annual bank closing day. April 1 is a holiday as closing figures would be calculated and April 2 will be a holiday on account of Good Friday. Banks will reopen on Saturday, April 3 while April 4 is a Sunday.
