Ranchi, Jan. 10: Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Sunday said that Nikhil Bharat Bang Sahitya Sammelan has been giving impetus to Bangla literature.
He said that when we say that Bangla Literature has given a direction to the nation, there is no denying the fact that the credit goes to Nikhil Bharat Bang Sahitya Sammelan.
He said that despite so many languages in the sub-continent, the culture of the country is integrated one. Whether it is Chhayavaad, Pragatiwaad or Janwaad, Bangla literature has always been a leader.
It is a lively literature and every aspect of the life is painted on the canvas of literature with honesty & sincerity. Their cultural ambience plays an important role in creating such a brilliant literature. In fact the soil of the land has such element which propels creation of true literature.
Underling the contribution of Ravindra Bhawan established in different towns of the nation, he said that this institution provides fertilizer to literature creation.
He said that the content and treatment of literature is changing. Now the content of literature has changed. It has shifted from rural to urban & village life to corporate. He said that the National Anthem & National Song has given much strength, energy & integrity to the nation.
Translation of Bangla literature in Hindi has brought the two literatures close to each other. Eminent writers like Tagore, Bankim Chandra, Sharat Chandra and Bimal Mitra have enriched the literature. He hoped that this type of conferences will help in strengthening literature.
At the event Governor Mrs. Draupadi Murmu, CM Raghubar Das, Minister Saryu Rai, MP Pradeep Balmuchu along with other dignified people was present.
