Bandhu, Enos and Koda form Jharkhand Progressive Alliance

Jamshedpur: Trinamool Congress state president Bandhu Tirkey, Jharkhand Party MLA Enos Ekka and Jai Bharat Samanata Party leader Madhu Koda today formed Jharkhand Progressive Alliance ahead of the Assembly elections in the state.

The alliance would contest the Assembly polls on all 81 seats. The allotment of seats is yet to be done in the alliance. A declaration in this regard would be made during a convocation of the alliance leaders in Ranchi on 24th August.

Speaking to scribes after declaring the alliance formation, the three leaders said the formation of the new alliance was the result of their efforts to safeguard the interests of the people of the state.

They said a grand convocation would be organized on 24th August. The seat allocation would take place during the convocation, they said.

Asked as to whether other parties would be given entry into the alliance, the leaders said all options were open for the time being. They said a meeting would be held in Kodarma on 20th August wherein the alliance would be given shape.
