Audition for Bengal Queen � II in Jamshedpur on Jan 12

Jamshedpur, Dec 27: The audition for Bengal Queen � Season II will be conducted at Havellite Studio on Kalimati Road near the Howrah Bridge in Sakchi on Sunday, January 12, 2020. Women between the age groups of 17 years and 45 years are eligible to participate. Registration for participation is already going on.

In a press meet organized today, the director of Bengal Queen, Mainak Banerjee stated that that the grand finale would be held in Kolkata. He informed that two auditions in Kolkata and one in Siliguri had already been completed. The next audition would be held in Guwahati depending where the date would be announced after the unrest in Assam subsided.

Mainak observed at the meeting that today, women were delving deep in various fields of knowledge like science, economics, medicine and space along with beauty to enhance their confidence level. The season I of Bengal Queen which a participant from Assam won proved Mainak�s observation.

The Bengal Queen director stated that last year a pageant for acid attack victims was also organized in which people learnt how these women had taken the attacks in their stride and displayed what it took to survive. This year too, contestants in Bengal Queen Season II will showcase some aspects of their lives. �The previous Season has also proved that beauty is not only for the purpose of exhibition but also to beautify and purify the inner self,� observed Mainak Banerjee.

Among others present in the press meeting were Zumba dance Education Specialist Piyu Majumdar, Puja Agrawal, Kuljit Kaur, Sushant Sinha, Jeet Banerjee, Puja Roy and Usha Gope.
