Jamshedpur, June 12: A case of attempted rape of a 9-year-old girl has come to light in Daigutu under the jurisdiction of Mango police station. However, the family members of the girl recovered the girl in time from the house of the accused. The accused was thrashed by the family members and then handed him over to the Mango police.
The police has started investigating the matter. Mango police station in-charge Vinay Kumar said that a 9-year-old girl resident of Daigutu was recovered from the house of Rohit Kumar, a resident of the locality. Rohit took the girl to his home on the pretext of giving her water and started misbehaving with her. Meanwhile, the girl’s family members started searching and found the girl in an objectionable condition from Rohit’s house.
