Jamshedpur, Feb. 4: The 25th Asian Astrologers� Conference 2017 began at Ram Mandir in Bistupur on Friday, February 3. Astrologers from across the country and also around 45 delegates from abroad including from Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Nepal are part of the three-day event.
The meet organised under the aegis of Centre of Astrological Study and Research (CASAR) For Public Welfare, saw presence of former ISRO Scientist Dr. Om Prakash Pandey as a special guest while industrialist Ramesh Kumar Agarwal was present as the chief guest along with Prof. S Kr Shastri, Founder Director of CASAR Astrology Education, Dr. Anisul Haq, organising committee president MD Kedia, Tapan Rai, Bharat Bhusan Maharaj, Beauty Chakraborty, Sanjay Singh and others.
The first day of the programme witnessed astrologers from different Asian countries putting their heads together to discuss the present scenario and the future of astrology. Expert brainstormed on various issues where Ramesh Kumar Agarwal shed light on the need for astrology in human life saying, ‘astrology is the science of life’.
Murlidhar Kedia said, informed about the scientific scriptures of astrology and how it can work for the welfare of the society. On the occasion magazine Kasar News was also launched. Astrologers from foreign countries were also felicitated.
Prof. S Kr Shastri said, main purpose behind organizing the conference is to re-establish astrology as a field of knowledge meant for public welfare and ensure participation of educated and intellectual people in promoting astrology. Predictive Astrology session will be held in the afternoon session.
A free astrology consultation camp and Practical Palmistry session was held on Saturday, February 4 which witnessed participation of large number of people.
On the concluding day of the conference, a Practical Vastu Shastra Session will be held on 5th February where Manoj Kumar Jha, IAS, secretary JPSC will be present as the chief guest.
