Jamshedpur, Feb. 4: Jamshedpur Public School (JPS) junior block organized an Innovation Fest for mothers at the school premises on Saturday.
The fest was inaugurated by the Principal Mrs. Namita Agarwal along with the Primary department in-charges Teacher Ashwini and Teacher Bindu and other teachers of the department. It was a fun filled day for the mothers as well as the teachers.
There were various innovative events like art- rangoli, mehendi, nutritious tiffin, innovative utilization of waste as well as innovative teaching aids . In this programme mothers of pre-primary students participated and were awarded with prizes in different categories.
First prize for Mehendi competition was awarded to Indrani Tiwary. In Rangoli contest Poonam Prabha bagged the first prize, in Best Out of Waste- Arti Singh was first in Nutritious tiffin- Neha Rani bagged the first prize.
The mothers enjoyed the programme as they were happy to spend a day at school and they got a platform to showcase their talent and share their innovative ideas.
While the mothers were busy with the events the fathers also did their bit by minding their children in the Play Corner.
