ASI nabbed team taking bribe in in West Singhbhum

Jamshedpur/Chakradharpur. Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) team arrested ASI Ganesh Singh, posted at Chakradharpur police station in West Singhbhum district of Kolhan  while taking bribe. The arrest took place on Friday.


 The ACB team left for Ranchi with Ganesh Singh. It has been said that Ganesh Singh had demanded a bribe of five thousand rupees from Masan Samad for character verification. The matter was settled for two and a half thousand rupees. Masan Samad complained about this to the ACB. The team laid a trap and caught Ganesh Singh along with the bribe amount.


 Earlier, trainee inspector Alok Kumar posted in Jadugoda police station of East Singhbhum was arrested red handed by the team of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB). Seven thousand rupees of bribe were recovered from him. The arrested inspector is of 2018 batch. ACB has arrested the third accused in Kolhan for taking bribe this year. Earlier, a clerk of Seraikela Civil Surgeon’s office was caught by the team taking bribe. Alok Kumar was arrested by the ACB team from Sadar Hospital in Parsudih police station area recently. Alok Kumar was sent by the Jadugoda police station in-charge to the Sadar Hospital to prepare the Panchnama of the bike rider killed in a road accident in Narwa and take the statement of relatives. At the same time, the inspector had called a person from Jadugoda with the bribe amount. The inspector had demanded seven thousand rupees from a person of Jaduguda on the pretext of lightening the case, whose complaint was lodged by the person in ACB branch, Jamshedpur.
