Appeal to rescue HEC and allocate Acknowledgment Funds to Jharkhand, Says Supriyo

Ranchi, , Nov 8: The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) extends a warm welcome to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the occasion of Jharkhand Formation Day and the birth anniversary of Dharti Aba Bhagwan Birsa Munda. The party’s General Secretary and spokesperson, Supriyo Bhattacharya, has expressed hope that the Prime Minister’s visit will be more of a government event than a political one. In light of this, the entire state of Jharkhand has high expectations for addressing long-standing injustices.

Supriyo Bhattacharya anticipates that the Prime Minister will announce the revival of Heavy Engineering Corporation (HEC), a symbol of the industrial heritage of the country that was envisioned by former PM Jawaharlal Nehru and Engineer Kartik Oraon. Additionally, he hopes that an acknowledgment amount of Rs 36 lakh crore will be granted to Jharkhand.

He points out that the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah in Jharkhand is not coincidental, particularly as Madhya Pradesh’s election campaign concludes on November 15. Given that Madhya Pradesh has numerous tribal reserved seats, it raises questions about the purpose of this visit. The JMM is eager for a non-political program that results in significant announcements for Jharkhand.

Supriyo Bhattacharya also notes that the President of India’s visits to Jharkhand are influenced by the central government, and this includes changes in schedules and participation in tribal festivals.
Regarding political strategies, he criticizes the use of government employees as “Panna Pramukhs” (campaign leaders) and the involvement of the military in political programs and elections, calling it a threat to the federal system and constitutional structure.

Supriyo Bhattacharya calls on Prime Minister Modi to address the welfare of the Heavy Engineering Corporation, which has faced challenges in recent years, leading to employee hardships.

In conclusion, he indirectly addresses Babulal Marandi, urging him not to harass his political opponents and emphasizing the importance of defeating the BJP in the 2024 elections. He humorously comments on Marandi’s facilitators and their growing debts due to their information-sharing practices.
