All sections of society benefitted in last eight years: Raghubar

District BJP working committee meet held at Dolphin Club

Jamshedpur, Feb 9: A meeting of Jamshedpur Mahanagar BJP’s district working committee was convened at Dolphin Club and Resort on the National Highway 33 here on Thursday. It was chaired by the district president Gunjan Yadav. It was the fourth working committee meet. Party workers jointly lit the ceremonial lamp and paid floral tribute to the founders of the party and martyr Telanga Khariya at the beginning of the meeting.

Addressing party workers, BJP national vice president and former Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that all sections of society had benefitted during the last eight years of PM Modi’s tenure. He said the party had set a target of winning all 14 Lok Sabha seats in the Lok Sabha elections of 2024.

“When Narendra Modi became Prime Minister in 2014, the politics of casteism, vote bank and Parivarvad came to an end and it was replaced by politics of development and good governance. Eleven crore toilets were constructed and nine crore people got free gas connections under Ujjwala scheme. The work to provide piped water to three crore families under PM Awas Yojana is on at full pace. Party workers should work as per the expectations and aspirations of the people. They should contact people and communicate with them to take various Central government schemes to each and every household,” Das said.

Das criticized the Hemant Soren government for imposing two per cent Market tax on Mandis under Jharkhand Agriculture Produce and Livestock Marketing Act 2022. He said the new act would promote corruption.

The meeting was jointly conducted by general secretary Anil Modi and Rakesh Singh. Former MLA Menka Sardar also participated in the meeting.

BJP not a dynasty-based party: Karmvir Singh

Jamshedpur, Feb 9: State organizing general secretary Karmvir Singh stressed on strengthening the party at each and every booth. He directed Mandal units of the party to form booth level committees and hold camps in Mandals. He said the party workers should reach out to the people and inform them about the various welfare schemes being implemented by the Central government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said the BJP workers should proceed with their thoughts and ideology. He said the BJP was not a family or dynasty based party but a party based on workers who can become Chief Minister or Prime Minister.

Listen to PM’s Mann Ki Baat: Subodh Singh Guddu

Jamshedpur, Feb 9: State secretary cum in-charge of Jamshedpur Mahanagar BJP Subodh Singh Guddu directed all booth workers of the party to listen to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat with booth workers on a regular basis. He said data management should be done through Saral App. He also spoke on empowerment of Shakti Kendra. Guddu criticized Hemant Soren government for rising crime graph, deteriorating healthcare system and increasing cases of crime against women.
