‘Ajab Madari Ghazab Tamasha’ enthralls audience on World Theater Day

Jamshedpur, March 27: Jamshedpur witnessed a vibrant celebration of World Theater Day, organized by SPARC (Society for Promotion of Art and Culture), the literary and cultural organization of Karim City College. The highlight of the event was the performance of the renowned play ‘Ajab Madaari Ghazab Tamasha,’ penned by acclaimed playwright Akhtar Ali and directed by Shivlal Sagar. Dr. Mohammad Reyaz, the Principal of the college, emphasized the significance of theater in reflecting life’s nuances and its importance as a literary form.

The play, staged successfully at the college’s central stage, showcased Aniket Karna and Aniket Jaiswal in leading roles, alongside talented student artists including Akash Das, Priya Kumari, Akash Kumar Singh, Ayush Banerjee, Ayush Mitra, and Rishabh Raj. Director Shivlal Sagar highlighted theater’s potential to steer society in the right direction and provoke societal awakening.

The event was graced by esteemed faculty members including Dr. BN Tripathi, Dr. Afsar Kazmi, Dr. Yahiya Ibrahim, Dr. Tanveer Jamal Kazmi, and Dr. Firoz Ibrahim, along with students.
