Jamshedpur, March 27:Senior citizens in Jamshedpur set an example by celebrating Holi in a unique manner, opting for Tilak Holi instead of traditional color splashing, as a gesture to promote water conservation. Morning walkers gathered on Kadma Sonari Link Road to convey a crucial message amid concerns over water wastage in the city, particularly during summer months.

Shrikant Dev, among others, emphasized the importance of curbing water wastage to ensure uninterrupted water supply in future. The event concluded with warm greetings exchanged among participants, including Sudhakar Lal Das, Ganesh Chaudhary, Dhiren Gorai, AS Rai, SN Mitra, BK Sharma, Ramdev, Lakhi Mahato, DR Thakur, Bharat Bhubij, Shrikant Dev, Shambhu Sardar, Rao Babu, and Sushil Mandal, who participated in the initiative.
