Adrenaline overflows as Jamshedpur FC fans have a deko of League Winners Shield

Jamshedpur, March 26: Hundreds of fans thronged JRD Tata Sports Complex in Jamshedpur to catch a glimpse of League Winners Shield and Hero of the League trophy today.

Various Jamshedpur FC fans also clicked photos with the coveted trophies and got the feeling of being ‘Champions of India’.

It was a joyous moment for Red Miners, the official fans club of Jamshedpur FC as the Men of Steel won the first piece of silverware since its inception in 2017.

“It was great to see the trophies. The semi final result was disappointing, but we are League Shield Winners and hopefully we will win the trophy next season,” said Ayush Agarwal, an ardent JFC fan.

“It’s great to see the trophy, it looks really impressive. I hope things get back to normal as we missed the live action this season. We will surely be the next ISL champions”, added another fan.

Jamshedpur FC CEO Mukul Choudhari was also present during the event. The Shield will be in display tomorrow (Sunday) as well from 10 am to 4 pm at JRD Tata Sports Complex. The entry and exit point for the fans is from Gate no. 8 of JRD Tata Sports Complex.

Along with the Shield, the club is also displaying the Hero of the League award won by Greg Stewart.

It is worth mentioning that Jamshedpur FC concluded the Hero ISL 2021-22 season with the title of being ‘Champions of India’ by finishing top of the league and winning the League Winners’ Shield in a record-breaking campaign. This marked the club’s first piece of silverware since its inception in 2017.
