Adityapur police seize two tractors carrying sand

Gamharia, July 15: Two tractors carrying illegally mined sand from river banks and moving along the Sapra Marg under Ward 1 of Gamharia, were intercepted and seized by Adityapur police led by OC Rajan Kumar. The seized tractors were taken two the Adityapur police station. Steps are underway to nab the owners of the two sand laden tractors.  OC Rajan Kumar said that the Gamharia Circle Officer and the District mining Officer had been informed of the seizure of the two tractors carrying illegally mined sand in trailers.  The OC said, “Action will be taken as per their (CO and DMO) instructions. Action will be taken after registering an FIR on the complaint of the Circle Officer and District Mining Officer.”
