Adityapur Municipal Corporation initiates removal of fish and meat stalls near religious places

Jamshedpur, August 7: On Wednesday, the Adityapur Municipal Corporation (AMC) initiated action to remove meat and fish shops from around religious places. The Municipal Corporation team forcibly removed meat, chicken, and fish shops around the old Shitla Mata temple in Gamharia market. Shop owners were served notices and instructed to immediately relocate their businesses away from the temple’s perimeter.

This move has sparked anger among meat and chicken traders towards the Municipal Corporation. Devashish Pradhan, the City Manager of Adityapur Municipal Corporation, who is leading the campaign, stated that all meat and chicken shopkeepers had been instructed to vacate as a precaution. This information was also being broadcast through loudspeakers. Following this, shopkeepers will be removed in accordance with instructions received from higher officials.
